Dina is a fully licensed cosmetologist and owner of Renew Day Spa.  Her accomplishments include over 27 years of experience in the beauty industry.  During the course of her career she has owned several salons in New York and relocated to Lake County in 2009.  In addition to her styling career, she has has been an educator for Joico International, a world renowned beauty products company, for 27 years, teaching hundreds of stylists across the United States and a corporate trainer teaching high level executives on the use and applications of Joico, Beth Minardi, and ISO product lines.  She has participated in the development and release of several new Joico products through extensive Research & Development.  One of Dina’s passions is wedding up-do’s which allows her to express her creativity with brides looking for a unique style for their “Big Day”.  Dina has two daughters, Taylor, a Registered Nurse at Broward Medical Health Center, specializing in pediatric oncology, and Jordan, an 8th grader at The Villages Charter School.  Her interests include physical fitness and she has completed several tri-athalons, obstacle races and even competed in a USA Powerlifting meet.  Dina is an active member of Heritage Community Church in Fruitland Park and has completed several mission trips to add missions Nicaragua (2013 – 2015) Poland (2015) & Haiti (2018).  Dina has been married to her husband, Tim Simpson, a board member for the Boys & Girls Club of Lake & Sumter Counties for 14 years.  At a time when Downtown Leesburg is experiencing a revitalization she is excited to be a part of what the future holds for the “Lakefront City”.
